At the branch, from the academic year 2020-2021, the educational processes began with the admission of students in 6 educational areas at the undergraduate stage. According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 840 of October 3, 2019, The Tashkent branch of the Samarkand Veterinary Medicine Institute was established. From the academic year 2021-2022, training processes in 9 master's specialties began, and in the academic year 2022-2023, 60 master's degree specialists were prepared. According to the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan PQ-187 of March 31, 2022, the branch was granted the status of Tashkent branch of Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, livestock and biotechnology.
