The University of Geological Sciences is a new-format scientific and educational cluster that meets the challenges of globalization of the world economy and the tasks of industrial and innovative development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. UGS is a specialized higher educational institution and scientific research institution that conducts researches for the state geological committee of the republic, mining enterprises and other sectors of the economy to train experts in the field of geology. The University, which is an advanced scientific and technical base, has established an effective activity on the further development of scientific research and experimental construction work in the field of geological research, rational use of underground resources and their protection. Besides,the center of innovative technologies was established.
