The branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent was organized in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 12, 2007 for the further development and improvement of the training of highly qualified personnel with higher education for the oil and gas and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Branch's mission is to train highly qualified specialists for the republic's oil and gas industry in accordance with the advanced educational programs adopted at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), international requirements for the quality of higher education and the goals and objectives of the National Program for Personnel Training of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The University is rightfully proud of its graduates, who work in all oil and gas companies operating in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Today, the Branch Gubkin University In Tashkent City is the innovative university and one of the flagship institutions of higher technical education in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
