Role Synopsis: This is a full-time, on-site role in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) for a Cost Control Specialist, reporting to the Cost Control and Contracts Manager. The role is responsible for financial monitoring and reporting of construction projects, including budget control, cost forecasting, cash flow management, and commercial reporting. The position ensures accurate visibility of project financial performance and supports strategic decision-making. Key Accountabilities: • Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against approved baselines. • Prepare monthly cost reports, forecast-to-complete analyses, and cash flow projections. • Review and analyze IPCs prepared by the Contracts Specialist to assess impact on budget and forecast. • Support preparation and review of project estimates and cost plans. • Identify cost deviations, financial risks, and trends; provide recommendations to management. • Maintain cost control systems and ensure accurate financial data recording. • Support commercial planning and performance analysis across projects. • Coordinate with Contracts Specialist to ensure alignment between contractual events and financial reporting. Desired background: • Bachelor’s degree in construction economics, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field. • 3–5 years of experience in cost control, quantity surveying, or commercial reporting. • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in construction projects. • Understanding of contract valuation principles. • Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel required), ERP experience preferred. • Fluent in Uzbek and English; Russian proficiency is an advantage. • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
