The branch of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) in the city of Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, was established in accordance with the instruction of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, D.A. Medvedev (No. DM-P8-3905r), and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, dated July 20, 2018, No. PP-3875, "On the Establishment and Organization of Activities of a Branch of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education 'National Research Nuclear University MEPhI' in the City of Tashkent." The branch of MEPhI in Tashkent trains highly qualified engineering and technical personnel in accordance with international educational standards. These specialists are capable of solving critical scientific, technological, and industrial tasks in nuclear physics and technology, as well as conducting fundamental and applied scientific research.
