The Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute was founded on February 28, 1992, with the location being the city of Jizzakh. Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute is the only regional Polytechnic higher education institution specializing in the training of specialists in engineering and technology, providing highly qualified personnel to enterprises and organizations in Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Samarkand and Navoi regions. The main task of the institute is to train highly qualified specialists with deep knowledge and practical skills in engineering and technical sciences and to encourage scientific research and innovation that contributes to progress in these areas.
