Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan On additional measures to further improve the activities of Samarkand State University In order to gradually ensure the implementation of the tasks set out in the Concept for the Development of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5847 dated October 8, 2019, and to promote the scientific, technological and social development of Samarkand State University, the training of competitive scientific and pedagogical personnel, and the advancement of Samarkand State University to the level of a flagship higher educational institution: Samarkand State University shall be named after the outstanding state and public figure Sharof Rashidov.
